QREEPZ, “DRINK THE…KOOL-AID VOL. 3”, REVIEW. The Universe of Ultrasound.

From the start, Qreepz’s ultrasound is volume maximum. This is the sound of Seattle’s genius producer/DJ/multi-talented artist. 1 hour is fucking short.

Only a few days after the release of his hip-hop project under the name of Murcii Miller, Lily of the Valley (read MURCII MILLER & BENTLEY BROWNING, “LILY OF THE VALLEY” ALBUM REVIEW), Qreepz released a new mixtape only on SoundCloud. But this is not just a “mixtape” quality. This is a complete form of music products. The high-end music entertainment. This is why Qreepz’s new Drink The…Kool-Aid Vol. 3 is introduced here as TRIPMUZE’s first mixtape review (TRIPMUZE didn’t review other than albums and very few EPs).

You can’t help but listening to each beat, drop, and burst of sounds while shaking your head. You can definitely dance with this mixtape, but you will think about behind each beat. You will intellectually use your brain to listen to this mixtape. You will fantasize about your illusion those beats draw like 3D lasers in your universe. Structural. Each beat has meaning to be in the position and reason to sound like that. Each beat has a vivid expression. This is Qreepz’s quality. It’s tripping. The moment of awe. Very thick an hour.

According to Qreepz’s introduction on his Instagram, “there’s quite a few originals weaved in”…this mixtape sounds like quite original already because his mixology is the original When listeners find the known melodies used as samples, like Lauryn Hill’s “That Thing”, those moments are the brief breaking point of mental listening.

Why is Qreepz so original? His music is electronic music with a theme. Like his artist’s name, the sound is a bit creepy. It’s like electronic music in the underground haunted house but not 100% demon, his beats also have the comical side. The thickness of his sound, as well as his way of boosting sound, is addictive. That was how I was caught with Qreepz’s music at a Seattle club where he was a DJ. Like the previous review of his Lily of the Valley album, his beats are chaotic but never loses control. High precision digital machine gun with a variety of catchy sound bullets. Never flat, never boring, never dull. Always crisp. Most importantly, his music always has superior melodies no matter that is his original or mixtape. That enables listeners to, as previously written, experience the illusional virtual reality of his musical infinity from pupils to optic nerves, through the brain between ears without a headset. I’m sure that’s what the majority of electronic musicians value most because of no lyric, but Qreepz’s level of expressionism is phenomenal. It’s entertainment, not self-satisfaction. His sound identity is equivalent to Dr. Dre. I can identify his sound as soon as his song starts like the godfather of hip-hop.

Drink The…Kool-Aid Vol. 3 doesn’t deserve to leave it alone in the beneath of SoundCloud just because of a mixtape, should be known worldwide as well as Qreepz’s talent.
